Plan the welding groove and smooth the cracked part of the shaft before welding in the open space. At the same time, in order to reduce the welding stress, a certain method is adopted in the planning of the welding groove. Firstly, the U-shaped groove is planned according to the cracking situation and the diameter of the part. The upper width of the groove is 20mm and the depth is 37mm. In order to make the shape of the groove together, the end face of the cracked part is processed and smoothed, and a forming turning tool is used for groove processing.
In order to avoid stress convergence, each part of the groove should be rounded to reduce the proportion of the base metal melted into the weld metal and avoid welding cracks. Welding vacancies also have an important impact on the quality of the welds. If the vacant is too small, defects such as incomplete penetration or excessive weld build-up will occur. If the vacant is too large, it will simply burn through. The shaft welding space is chosen to be 2mm.
Before welding, it is necessary to eradicate the rust, oil stain, moisture and oxide scale on the groove and blunt surface of the welding part of the shaft. First use flame baking to eradicate water and oil, and then use manual emery cloth or grinder to polish and remove. Rust treatment. The oxide scale can be directly polished with a grinder for eradication, and for some difficult to clean oil stains, acetone or ethanol can be used to clean it.
